your support means so much…thank you!!
The Shawna’s House Black & White Ball on Saturday 10.2.2021, was a celebration of the organization’s 10 year anniversary. The Ball was a great success! Your attendance, marketing of the event, sponsorship, donations, and or support made that happen! We could not be more thankful for you! We had so much fun, and we can’t wait to do it again in 2022!

It Took A Village
You are part of the village that made it possible for us to reach this point. Our active and alumni youth participants and their families, The Shawna’s House mentors and volunteers, and community supporters like you will be among those being celebrated for the evening.
Looking Back
Founder and CEO Shawna K Pérez-Clark developed an idea for a program for teens that literally started in her living room with her own teenaged children and their friends. Shawna's home was the unofficial safe space for many kids in the neighborhood to converse and get sound advice and encouragement from trusted peers and adults. Shawna answered her call to address the need for a youth-focused program and a safe space for them to gather in their own community. Shawna’s House Inc., a 501c3 youth-focused nonprofit organization was officially launched on September 11, 2011, and hosted the Teen Chat Room program at the Northeast Regional Free Library of Philadelphia.
